And that’s what holds me, especially when nothing else does.
I don’t wake up at 5 AM to meditate.
I don’t always remember to chant.
No deep books on spirituality.
But I do talk to something bigger than me, almost every day.
Sometimes it’s when I’m cooking or doing chores.
Sometimes during a walk.
Sometimes right before sleeping, when the house is finally quiet and I can hear my own thoughts.
I don’t know what to call it – universe, inner voice, energy, God.
But I believe it’s there.
And I believe it listens.
When life feels too messy, I’ve found myself just saying,
“Please help me figure this out.”
Or
“Please give me strength. I’ll do the work.”
That’s my way of praying.
No rules. No fancy setup. Just a quiet conversation from heart to something bigger.
I’ve also had moments where I’ve felt angry, really angry with whatever this higher power is.
Why is this happening?
Why now?
Why me?
But even in that anger, I still talk.
That’s the strange part. I don’t give up on it.
So no, I don’t think I’m spiritual in the traditional sense.
But I do carry faith with me always.
If you’re like me, not following everything by the book, but still feeling something deeper –
I just want to say…
You’re not wrong. You’re not lost.
Your connection is valid. Your way is enough.
You’re on your own beautiful, sacred, messy path.
